Round 1 James loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Berry for the mistake. Berry has side control. "Kane" wraps the arm of James behind his back and traps it. "Kane" pounds away with shots to the face. Berry moves to north-south position. James begins to roll out from under Berry but Berry is able scramble to Jamess back. "Macho Man" starts to wiggle out of back control, "Kane" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Doc is hit with a jab and taken down with a strong trip takedown. Dexter is able to push to half guard. Dexter is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Doc gives his back up trying to escape the mount. James starts to wiggle out of back control, Dexter Berry lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Kane" connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Doc James. Dexter Berry stuffs a shot from James and lands several shots to his body. James attempts to pull guard but Dexter Berry makes it to side mount. Doc is hit with a heavy knee to the liver and tries to scramble out of side control. "Kane" scrambles well and takes Jamess back. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Dexter connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Dexter connects with numerous jabs to the face of James. Berry executes a single leg giving him the back of James. Dexter Berry sinks a deep rear naked choke, but Doc just barely rolls to his back in time. Dexter Berry now has full mount. Doc James attempts to buck "Kane" off from mount but "Kane" keeps his base and maintains position. "Macho Man" attempts to buck Dexter off from mount but Dexter keeps his base and maintains position. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Both fighters begin to exchange "Kane" catches Doc James with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Doc James gather himself. Doc James says he is ok and the fight continues. "Macho Man" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Kane" executes a single leg giving him the back of "Macho Man". Berry lays into Doc James with some strong shots forcing Doc James to give up mount position. Dexter punishes Doc with a series of strikes from the mount. Doc James gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 3 is over.
