Round 1 Okello Fatuma is staggered by a jab to the chin. A welt begins to form under Okellos eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Cook. Okello throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Greg Cook puts Okello on the mat giving his back up. Greg Cook lands a series of heavy punches forcing Okello to roll to his back, giving Greg Cook mount. Okello attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Okello bucks Greg Cook off and sweeps him over getting into his half guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Greg shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. Greg Cook slides his knee across the body of Okello Fatuma and takes full mount. Cook secures his position. Okello Fatuma gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Greg tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. With both hooks in and Fatuma face down Greg Cook peppers him with short shots to the head. Fatuma turns to defend while kicking a leg out to get to half guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Greg takes Okello down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Okello. "Contortrix" stands over Okello, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Okello is able to grab an arm and pull "Contortrix" into his guard. Greg Cook attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Okello Fatuma slips out of it at the last moment. "Contortrix" distracts Okello Fatuma with peppering shots. "Contortrix" then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Okello Fatuma is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. "Contortrix" punishes Fatuma with a series of strikes from the mount. Okello gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Fatuma panics and gives up mount instead. Fatuma bucks off "Contortrix" and sweeps him over taking side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
