Round 1 Brett shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. "CM Punk" slides his knee across the body of Minoru Mifune and takes full mount. "BJJ Trainer" pulls "CM Punk" close to avoid a flurry of strikes. "BJJ Trainer" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Brett tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can\'t quite finish it. Green lands a series of heavy punches forcing "BJJ Trainer" to roll to his back, giving Green mount. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Brett Green takes down Minoru Mifune, but remains standing over him. Brett attempts to drop a fist on Minoru Mifune, but misses and lands in his guard. Brett keeps his head down in the chest of Minoru to avoid any submission attempts. Brett leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Green drops a few strong punches, opening up Mifunes guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Brett Green maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Minoru gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Minoru eats a few stiff shots from Brett Green, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Minoru bucks off "CM Punk" and both fighters get to their feet. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Minoru connects with a jab cross combination. Mifune throws a push kick. Brett shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Minorus nose.
Brett Green fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Minoru Mifune. Minoru attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Brett pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Brett Green fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Mifune to the cage. Mifune swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Brett Green sits up in Minorus open guard and spins to an leg lock. "BJJ Trainer" is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Brett presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Minoru, aggressively pulling guard. Brett Green sets in an omaplata, forcing Mifune to roll through, giving Brett Green side control. Minoru Mifune almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "CM Punk" delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Minoru to turn over. "CM Punk" takes the back. Round 3 is finished.
