Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Luis recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. " The Javelin" connects with a right that puts Bell off balance tumbling to the mat, as " The Javelin" towers over him. Carlitos attempts to drop a fist on Luis, but misses and lands in his guard. Carlitos takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Luiss guard. It doesn't pay off as Bell makes his way to standing. Carlitos takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Luis Bells guard. A deep cut is open up over the eye of Bell from strikes in the guard. The ref stops the fight so the doctor can look at it. The doctor says he can continue. Carlitos Gomez dodges a few strikes from Luis and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
" The Javelin" stuff a shot from Luis Bell and lands several shots to the body. Luis Bell attempts to pull guard but " The Javelin" pushes his way to half guard. Luis Bell hits an upward elbow on Carlitos, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Carlitos takes side control. Carlitos Gomez drops some hammer fists on Luis. Bell gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Carlitos spins around to take it, Bell makes his way back to his feet. Luis Bell narrowly dodges a cross from " The Javelin", but falls catching him in his guard. Bell attempts an armbar. Carlitos time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Luiss guard. Carlitos tries to pass guard but Luis Bell stops him with a well timed punch. Luis Bell is pummeled by some well timed bombs from " The Javelin". Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Gomez circles Luis Bell, landing jabs and crosses at will. The fighters circle each other. Carlitos Gomez executes a single leg giving him the back of Bell. Gomez lands a series of heavy punches forcing Luis Bell to roll to his back, giving Gomez mount. Carlitos Gomez maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Carlitos Gomez secures his position. Round 3 comes to a close.

Carlitos " The Javelin" Gomez wins by Unanimous Decision
