Round 1 Fabi Kozlov hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Fabi Kozlov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Akira. "Stary Night" attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Kozlov who lands in his guard. Akira attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Kozlov narrowly dodges a cross from "Stary Night", but falls catching him in his guard. Fabi Kozlov begins to posture on his side. Akira lands a couple of outside hooks and Fabi Kozlov returns to the guard. Kozlov attempts to lock an omoplata, but Akira is able to muscle his way back to the guard. A triangle attempt from Fabi Kozlov is defended by Akira Shiomiya posturing high in the guard. Fabi Kozlov swiftly switches to an armbar. Akira Shiomiya taps quickly.
