Round 1 James Jodoin is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Bubbles" eats a strong cross as Voskresensky moves into the clinch. Yasha is jockeying for position in the clinch. Round 2 "Bubbles" connects with a right that puts Yasha Voskresensky off balance tumbling to the mat, as "Bubbles" towers over him. James Jodoin attempts to drop a fist on Voskresensky, but misses and lands in his guard. James dodges a few strikes from Yasha and cuts him over his eye with a axe-handle strike. Yasha is starting to bleed over his left eye. Jodoin drops a few strong punches, opening up Yashas guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. "Bubbles" punishes Yasha Voskresensky with a series of strikes from the mount. Voskresensky gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Yasha panics and gives up mount instead. James Jodoin jumps out of mount and back to dominant side control. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Voskresensky connects with a series of punches forcing James into a clinch. "Bubbles" attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Yasha now is in dominant side mount. Jodoin almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Yasha slides his knee across the body of "Bubbles" and takes full mount. James attempts to buck Voskresensky off from mount but Voskresensky keeps his base and maintains position. Jodoin bucks Yasha Voskresensky off and sweeps him over getting into his half guard. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 James throws a crisp jab, but Yasha slips it and moves in for the clinch. Yasha Voskresensky has double underhooks, locks across the body, and takes "Bubbles" down to the mat, landing in great side control. Jodoin takes a few knees to the body while under Yasha Voskresenskys side control. James is wisely defending a kimura. Voskresensky attempts to take it but James is having none of it, though Voskresensky has used the chance the slide into mount. "Bubbles" pulls Voskresensky close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Jodoin attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Yasha Voskresensky keeps James Jodoin at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. James takes Yasha Voskresenskys back standing. Yasha isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but James lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Yasha to release. Yasha Voskresensky throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Yasha Voskresensky receieves numerous knees to the thighs from James. Yasha Voskresensky has double underhooks, locks across the body, and takes Jodoin down to the mat, landing in great side control. James takes a few knees to the body while under Yasha Voskresenskys side control. Yashas knee strike causes James Jodoin to lose his breath. Yasha Voskresensky strikes with two swift knees that furthers James Jodoins complications. James Jodoin taps out.
