Round 1 "KO" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Billy starts to put on the pressure, forcing Bowen back into the cage. Billy takes advantage and clinches. "The Heel" stomps the feet of Bowen. Bryan absorbs several body shots while being tied up. Bryan Bowen attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Billy Neal. "KO" attempts a lazy shot from the tie up, Billy capitalizes by taking his back. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Billy connects with a hard punch making Bowen bring him in to a tight clinch. Billy Neal grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Bryan under the eye. Billy Neal takes the back of Bowen who works for a kimura. Billy Neal pulls his arm out of the hold and push Bowen away. Bowen lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles "The Heel". Bowen then switch kicks "The Heel" on the opposing rib. Bowen connects with a series of punches forcing Neal into a clinch. Bryan attempts to grab the plum but is met by an overhand punch from Billy Neal. Neal works Bryan into the cage from the clinch. Neal presses his head under Bryans chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Billy Neal works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Bowen eats a strong cross as "The Heel" moves into the clinch. Bowen receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. The ref breaks the action as "The Heel" is too inactive holding Bowen in the clinch. The action is restarted with the fighters separated. Billy Neal hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Billy Neal connects with a hard punch making Bryan Bowen bring him in to a tight clinch. "KO" swims to double underhooks and turns Neal but Neal gets double underhooks of his own and rotates "KO" right back into the cage. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Billy Neal works to Bryans back while standing. Billy Neal throws a couple of outside shots until "KO" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 "KO" parries a right jab and lands a beautiful crescent kick, striking the ribs. Neal connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Bowen. Both fighters begin to exchange Billy catches Bryan Bowen with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Bryan Bowen gather himself. Bryan Bowen says he is ok and the fight continues. Neal fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Bryan Bowen. Billy Neal lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Billy Neal lands some solid knees to the legs of Bowen from the clinch. Bryan is hit by successive knees on either side of his ribcage. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Neal is defended well by Bryan. Neal grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Neal returns to the clinch. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Bowen sprawls a takedown attempt from "The Heel". "The Heel" eats several punches on the way back to his feet. "KO" attempts a striking combination, but Billy Neal forces the clinch. Billy Neal executes a an impressive greco-roman takedown from the clinch, putting him in guard. Bowen attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. A welt begins to form under "KOs" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Neal. "KO" connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Billy Neal hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Billy Neal wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of "KO". The round comes to an end.
