Round 1 Earl fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Kioshi to the cage. Kioshi swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Kioshi Inoue begins to posture on his side. Reeves lands a couple of outside hooks and Kioshi Inoue returns to the guard. Reeves takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Kioshi Inoues guard. It doesn't pay off as Kioshi Inoue makes his way to standing. Reeves lands a double jab. "Ohh Lawd" connects with a hard jab as "Jax" attempts a wide outside hook. A shot from Earl Reeves is countered by a guillotine from Kioshi. Earl Reeves follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. Earl Reeves lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Earl Reeves throws his knee into the ribs of Kioshi Inoue. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Inoue throws a hard jab but Reeves throws a cross right over the top rocking Inoue. Reeves throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Inoue is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Earl Reeves circles Kioshi Inoue, landing jabs and crosses at will. Kioshi connects with a jab cross combination. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Earl connects with a right that puts Kioshi Inoue off balance tumbling to the mat, as Earl towers over him. "Jax" stands over "Ohh Lawd", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Ohh Lawd" is able to grab an arm and pull "Jax" into his guard. Inoue is cut under his eye by a hard overhand from "Jax" while utilizing the guard. Kioshi attempts to create some space from his guard, but Reeves sees the opening and passes to full mount. Earl punishes Kioshi Inoue with a series of strikes from the mount. Kioshi Inoue gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Inoue panics and gives up mount instead. Kioshi Inoue bucks off Earl Reeves sweeping him to his back and slickly transitions to side control.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 "Ohh Lawd" snaps back the head of Reeves with a stiff jab. Kioshi is staggered by a jab to the chin. Inoue fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Reeves quickly takes his back. Kioshi Inoue carefully protects himself from Earls strikes. Inoue starts to wiggle out of back control, Reeves lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Earl connects with a strong right hook. "Jax" lands a hook and immediately shoots in, lifts Kioshi Inoue up and dumps him over his shoulder in a powerful display. "Jax" turns quickly to capitalize but Kioshi Inoue is quick to turn to his back while he recomposes. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 "Jax" connects with jab cross combination. Earl connects with a series of punches forcing Kioshi Inoue into a clinch. Earl is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Reeves takes the back of Kioshi Inoue who works for a kimura. Reeves pulls his arm out of the hold and push Kioshi Inoue away. "Jax" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Ohh Lawd" hits an uppercut to the head of Earl followed by a hard hook. "Jax" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Ohh Lawd" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. The round comes to an end.
