Round 1 Kid lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by "Tango". Kid connects with a hard jab as Long attempts a wide outside hook. "Champ" hits an uppercut to the head of "Tango" followed by a hard hook. Kid Belanger connects with a hard punch making Benny bring him in to a tight clinch. Benny grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Kid Belanger under the eye. "Champ" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Long standing over him. "Champ" thrusts his leg into Benny Longs knee while grounded. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Belanger throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Benny is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Benny Long throws a crisp jab, but Kid Belanger slips it and moves in for the clinch. "Champ" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Benny Long throws a couple of light hooks but "Champ" lands a large outer drop and positions to side mount. Kid lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Long takes a few knees to the body while under Kid Belangers side control. Benny gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Kid is leading with his head during his combos and Benny makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. Kid shakes it off as he steps back. Belanger connects with a strong body shot combo. After dodging a jab, Benny Long lands a kick to the liver of Belanger who steps back only to take a knee. Benny Long rushes forward to capitalize but Belanger falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. "Tango" lays into Belangers thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Kid Belanger does so. Benny is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Kid Belanger tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Benny that puts him on the floor. Benny Long kicks at the thighs of Kid Belanger. Benny lays into Belangers thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "Champ" does so. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Kid pressures his opponent into clinching. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Long winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Benny Long throws a crisp jab, but "Champ" slips it and moves in for the clinch. Kid Belanger works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. A rising hip toss puts Long under Kids side control. "Tango" takes a few knees to the body while under Belangers side control. "Champ" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Long takes a few knees to the body while under Kids side control. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Benny is staggered by a jab to the chin. Benny Long attempts a striking combination, but Kid forces the clinch. Kid dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Benny Long standing over him. Long kicks at the legs of Belanger and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Belanger to stand. Long circles Kid, mixing jabs with body shots. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Benny is defended well by Belanger. Benny grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Benny returns to the clinch. Long grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Kid Belanger on the floor. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
