Round 1 Yves White lands a outside leg kick that causes Jalal to back up. Jalal connects with a jab cross combination. Curtis begins a combination but Yves ducks down, picking "Champs" leg. Yves lifts "Champs" leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. Yves White lays into "Champs" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "Champ" does so. Jalal is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, White prepares to pounce, but Jalal gets his bearings just in time. A solid kick bruises the leg of Curtis. Yves White lays into "Champs" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Curtis does so. Jalal is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Jalal can continue. Yves White parries Jalals jab and connect with a cross that floors "Champ". The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Yves White connects with a hard punch making "Champ" bring him in to a tight clinch. Yves attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. "Champ" now is in dominant side mount. Jalal attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Yves for his troubles. Jalal slides his knee across the body of Yves White and takes full mount. Curtis secures his position. Yves White attempts to buck Curtis off from mount but Curtis keeps his base and maintains position. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Curtis throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Yves White. Jalal Curtis connects with a hard punch making White bring him in to a tight clinch. "Champ" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. A hip toss puts Yves under "Champs" side control. Yves almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Curtis lands a few stiff elbows from side control. White gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Jalal spins around to take it, White makes his way back to his feet. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Jalal connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Jalal throws a kick to the midsection of Yves. Yves White throws a crisp jab, but Curtis slips it and moves in for the clinch. Curtis takes Yvess back standing. Curtis lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Yves is able to work his way back around. Curtis is jockeying for position in the clinch. Yves takes Jalals back standing. "Champ" isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Yves lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "Champ" to release. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 Jalal Curtis throws a hard jab but Yves throws a cross right over the top rocking Jalal Curtis. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. White grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts "Champ" under the eye. Jalal takes Yvess back standing. White begins to isolate an arm but Jalal executes a trip which puts him in half guard. Jalal Curtis tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Yves White holds the head of "Champ" close to avoid shots. "Champ" slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. The bell signals the end of round 5.
