Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange "Fuck Face" catches Almir Begovic with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Almir Begovic gather himself. Almir Begovic says he is ok and the fight continues. Almir keeps Rolando Velasquez at a distance with some well timed jabs. Velasquez connects with a hard jab as Almir Begovic attempts a wide outside hook. Rolando unleashes a flurry of punches on Almir. Velasquez is hit with two hard punches to his face. Velasquez laughs off the punches. Begovic fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Velasquez. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Velasquez eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Almir Begovic. Velasquez connects with a jab cross combination. Almir ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Velasquez to the mat, and his back. Almir lands a series of heavy punches forcing Rolando to roll to his back, giving Almir mount. Almir maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Almir jumps out of mount and back to dominant side control. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Begovic hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Rolando Velasquez. Almir narrowly dodges a cross from Rolando, but falls catching him in his guard. Almir lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Begovic sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Velasquez attempts to escape mount but has no luck. "Fuck Face" bucks Almir Begovic off and sweeps him over getting into his half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 "Fuck Face" attempts to press in but Begovic uses a inside reaping to put "Fuck Face" on the canvas. Begovic hops to side control. Almir Begovic slides his knee across the body of Velasquez and takes full mount. Begovic maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. "Fuck Face" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Almir Begovic peppers shot to the head of Rolando Velasquez looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Rolando Velasquez is hand playing well. Begovic begins to look for a rear naked choke, but "Fuck Face" rolls to being mounted instead. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Almir connects with a series of punches forcing Velasquez into a clinch. Begovic works Rolando into the cage from the clinch. Begovic presses his head under "Fuck Faces" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "Fuck Face" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Begovic sets a guillotine choke but "Fuck Face" slips out at the last moment. "Fuck Face" is now caught in guard. Velasquez tries to pass guard but Almir stops him with a well timed punch. Almir locks a triangle but "Fuck Face" defends well. Almir continues the attempt but finally decides to let go. Rolandos face is red from the choke and sits low in the guard to catch his breath. Velasquez tries to move to half guard but Begovic uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Velasquez is pulled close and is hit with a couple of strong heel strikes to the back. Round 5 is over.
