Round 1 Jorge is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Jorge sends Eduardo Delgado to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Eduardo shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Jorge presses the action while in the guard, but Eduardo is able to switch him into mount. Rego attempts to escape mount but has no luck. "Unbreakable" bucks off Delgado and sweeps him over to his back getting into his half guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Unbreakable" ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Eduardo and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Rego circles Eduardo Delgado, mixing jabs with body shots. Jorge hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Eduardo Delgado. Jorge circles Delgado, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. "Unbreakable" gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Rego slips a cross from Eduardo and lands jab cross to the body. Rego connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Delgado who falls to the ground. Rego waves him back to his feet. Delgado throws a hard jab but Rego throws a cross right over the top that knocks Delgado to the ground. Rego kicks at the legs of Eduardo Delgado and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Eduardo Delgado to stand. Eduardo Delgado weaves through a jab-cross combo from Rego but is met with a powerful uppercut that knocks him to the floor. Jorge Rego stands over Delgado, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Delgado cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Rego kicks at the legs of Delgado and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Delgado to stand. Delgado moves in to press the action, but Rego lands a heavy back kick. Rego connects with a hard right hand putting Delgado on the mat. Rego goes down with him into side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 "Unbreakable" is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Eduardo explodes forward with a push kick that puts "Unbreakable" on the canvas. Eduardo stands over Jorge, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Jorge is able to grab an arm and pull Eduardo into his guard. "Unbreakable" begins to posture on his side. Delgado lands a couple of outside hooks and "Unbreakable" returns to the guard. Delgado takes advantage of a mental laps from Jorge and moves into full mount. Eduardo Delgado executes a double hand slap to the ears of Jorge. "Unbreakable" gets pummeled by the fists of Eduardo. "Unbreakable" gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Giving up his back, Rego panics and gives up mount instead. Jorge Rego attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 The fighters circle each other. Jorge gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Jorge Rego carefully protects himself from Eduardo Delgados strikes. "Unbreakable" starts to wiggle out of back control, Eduardo Delgado lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Delgado ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. Jorge Rego hits an uppercut to the head of Eduardo followed by a hard hook. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Jorge Rego wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Delgado. Round 5 is finished.
