Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Manel Ribeiro hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. While tied up, Rego is met with a hard uppercut. Manel parries Jorges jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Jorge Rego. Jorge Rego rolls to his back with Manel standing over him. Ribeiro drops a huge strike to Jorge Regos chin, landing into his guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jorge Rego throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Ribeiro is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Rego blocks a strong high kick from Ribeiro and counters with a devastating left hook. "Unbreakable" lands a double jab. Manel Ribeiro lands a hook to the body. Manel presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Jorge to the mat. Manel stands back and waves Jorge up. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Manel Ribeiro connects with a right that puts "Unbreakable" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Manel Ribeiro towers over him. Ribeiro stands over Jorge Rego, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Jorge Rego is able to grab an arm and pull Ribeiro into his guard. Manel drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Jorge Rego attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Rego attempts to buck Ribeiro off from mount but Ribeiro keeps his base and maintains position. "Unbreakable" gets pummeled by the fists of Manel Ribeiro. "Unbreakable" gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Rego eats a few stiff shots from Manel, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. "Unbreakable" attempts to buck Manel off from mount but Manel keeps his base and maintains position. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Manel Ribeiro locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Rego. "Unbreakable" attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Manel. Ribeiro attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Jorge Rego standing over him. "Unbreakable" attempts to drop a fist on Ribeiro, but misses and lands in his guard. Ribeiro connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Manel Ribeiro shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Manel connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Rego presses the action while in the guard, but Ribeiro is able to switch him into mount. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 "Unbreakable" is leading with his head during his combos and Ribeiro makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. "Unbreakable" shakes it off as he steps back. Jorge Rego connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Ribeiro. Jorge Rego lands a double jab. Manel Ribeiro clinches with Jorge and pulls guard but Jorge gets in his half guard on the way down.Round 5 comes to a close.
