Round 1 Gabe lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Rego. Gabe then switch kicks Rego on the opposing rib. Jorge is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Gabe presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Jorge survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Jorge parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Desjardins connects with a strong right hook. Both fighters begin to exchange Jorge catches Gabe Desjardins with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Gabe Desjardins gather himself. Gabe Desjardins says he is ok and the fight continues. Jorge Rego is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Desjardins welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Jorge Rego back to striking distance. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 "Unbreakable" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Rego feints and follows up with a hard cross. Gabe stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Desjardins parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Rego connects with a hard body kick to the liver shutting down Gabe who crumbles to the ground.
