Round 1 "Piranha" is pressed into the cage by Todd. He is able to switch Todd into the cage and land a couple of looping hooks before backing away. "Piranha" connects with a hard jab as Todd Elliott attempts a wide outside hook. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Luc hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Todd Elliott is leading with his head during his combos and Fay makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. Todd Elliott shakes it off as he steps back. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 A running flurry from Todd is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from "Piranha". "Piranha" follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. Luc lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Todd Elliott circling away. Luc Fay is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Elliott tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Luc Fay that puts him on the floor. Luc Fay kicks at the legs of Todd and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Todd to stand. Todd parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. Luc Fay stands over Todd, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Todd cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. "Piranha" kicks at the legs of "The Natural " and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells "The Natural " to stand. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Todd Elliott is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Luc. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Luc takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Elliott drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Luc Fay sets a guillotine choke but Elliott slips out at the last moment. Elliott is now caught in guard. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Elliott but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Todd throws a few jabs at "Piranha" that miss the mark. Elliott tries to find his distance but Fay is able to land two looping hooks that stun Elliott, who warily backs away. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 "Piranha" connects with a hard punch making Todd bring him in to a tight clinch. Todd Elliott works Fay into the cage from the clinch. Todd Elliott presses his head under "Piranhas" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Luc takes Elliotts back standing. Elliott isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Luc lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Elliott to release. Luc Fay throws a hard jab but Todd throws a cross right over the top rocking Luc Fay. Luc Fay connects with a jab, plants his left hand on the ground and pushes up smashing "The Natural s" head with a cartwheel kick. "The Natural " shoots in and grabs a single leg. "Piranha" hops on one leg and defends the takedown. While on one leg, he leaps into the air and lands his apposing knee forcing "The Natural " to release the attempt. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Todd Elliott does a good job to circle away from Fay but becomes too predictable and Fay lands a switch kick to "The Natural s" ribs. Fay connects with a hard punch making Elliott bring him in to a tight clinch. Luc attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Todd Elliott who lands in his guard. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Todd Elliott but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. Todd Elliott eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Luc. Luc Fay hits an uppercut to the head of Todd Elliott followed by a hard hook. "Piranha" lands a hook to the body. Round 5 is finished.
