Round 1
Wellen hits an uppercut to the head of Dylan followed by a hard hook. Dylan fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Bruce Wellen. Bruce attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by MacAteer who lands in his guard. Dylan takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Wellens guard. It doesn't pay off as Wellen makes his way to standing. Dylan MacAteer narrowly dodges a cross from Wellen, but falls catching him in his guard. Dylan lands a stiff elbow while on his back. "Mystic Mac" attempts a kimura from the bottom. Wellen blocks the attempt and smothers "Mystic Mac" who transitions to an armbar attempt. Wellen is able to defend this as well and works back into guard. MacAteer connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Wellen lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Wellen fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. MacAteer quickly takes his back. Bruce carefully protects himself from MacAteers strikes. Bruce is able to make it back to the standing position. Bruce Wellen connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Mystic Mac". Dylan MacAteer weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Wellen throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Dylan MacAteer puts Wellen on the mat giving his back up.Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
"Mystic Mac" ties up with Bruce, but then quickly back trips him, putting him to the mat. "Mystic Mac" pushes position and gains side control. Bruce Wellen takes a few knees to the body while under MacAteers side control. MacAteer moves to north-south position. Bruce begins to roll out from under MacAteer but MacAteer is able scramble to Bruces back. Bruce starts to wiggle out of back control, MacAteer lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Bruce Wellen but Dylan is able to muscle through for a takedown, finishing in half guard. "Mystic Mac" is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Wellen gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Bruce Wellen starts to wiggle out of back control, Dylan lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Dylan throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Wellen is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Bruce Wellen is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Dylan throws a knee into Wellens ribs. Bruce tries to scramble to escape any more punishment but gives up his back in the process. Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Dylan connects with a strong right hook. Bruce Wellen throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from MacAteer puts Bruce Wellen on the mat giving his back up. MacAteer executes a double hand slap to the ears of Bruce. Wellen starts to wiggle out of back control, Dylan MacAteer lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Bruce Wellen is staggered by a jab to the chin. Bruce throws a hard jab but Dylan MacAteer throws a cross right over the top that knocks Bruce to the ground. Round 4 is over.

Round 5
Both fighters begin to exchange MacAteer catches Wellen with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Wellen gather himself. Wellen says he is ok and the fight continues. Bruce Wellen catches a leg kick from Dylan, and puts him on the mat. MacAteer dodges some ground strikes from Bruce, and sends a few back of his own. MacAteer gets his arm underneath the neck of Bruce while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. MacAteer applies pressure forcing Bruce to tumble over giving MacAteer mount. MacAteer lands a double punch to the head of Bruce. Dylan grabs and arm and swings over for a tight armbar. Bruce taps out.
