Round 1
Choe lands a double jab. Choe narrowly dodges a cross from Clive Martel, but falls catching him in his guard. Jeong Choe attempts to lock an omoplata, but Clive Martel is able to muscle his way back to the guard. Clive Martel presses the action while in the guard, but Jeong Choe is able to switch him into mount. Martel shifts his head and hips to keep Jeong off balance and unable to land strikes. Clive Martel fights his leg through and gets back to half guard.Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Martel connects with a hard jab as Jeong Choe attempts a wide outside hook. Choe connects with a series of punches forcing Martel into a clinch. Jeong uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown, landing in full guard. Choe takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Clives guard. It doesn't pay off as Martel makes his way to standing. Choe parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. "Canadian Sedation" follows with a falling punch into Jeongs guard. Jeong Choe dodges some ground strikes from Clive, and sends a few back of his own. Jeong Choe grabs the arm of Clive while in guard and holds tight eating shots to ribs. Clive keeps his head down in guard to gather energy. Choe uses the strength of his legs to sweep him over to his back. Choe now has full mount. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Jeong executes a single leg giving him the back of Clive Martel. "Canadian Sedation" carefully protects himself from Choes strikes. "Canadian Sedation" slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Clive is hit with two hard punches to his face. Clive laughs off the punches. Choe parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Choe wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Clive Martel. The bell signals the end of round 3.

Round 4
Clive Martel connects with jab cross combination. Jeong throws a push kick. "Canadian Sedation" shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Choes nose. A welt begins to form under Jeong Choes eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Clive. Clive Martel feints and follows up with a hard cross. Jeong Choe stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Clive Martel connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. The bell signals the end of round 4.

Round 5
Clive hits an uppercut to the head of Jeong Choe followed by a hard hook. "Canadian Sedation" connects with a strong body shot combo. Choe attempts to clinch, but Martel connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Martel throws a push kick. Jeong Choe shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Clives nose. Jeong Choe weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Jeong attempts a takedown but slips, and Clive backs away. Clive is standing over Jeong. Round 5 is over.
