Round 1 "Piranha" connects with a series of punches forcing Todd into a clinch. "The Natural " works "Piranha" into the cage from the clinch. "The Natural " presses his head under Luc Fays chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "Piranha" takes Elliotts back standing. "The Natural " isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "Piranha" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "The Natural " to release. "Piranha" lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Todd Elliott. "Piranha" dodges a series of strikes from Elliott and counters with a body shot and cross. "Piranha" then backs up and wags a finger at Elliott. Luc connects with a right that puts Todd Elliott off balance tumbling to the mat, as Luc towers over him. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Luc bitch slaps Elliott. Todd Elliott fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Luc Fay. Elliott escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "The Natural " takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Lucs guard. Luc Fay moves to half guard then is able to grab a butterfly guard, eventually working to standing. Todd narrowly dodges a cross from Fay, but falls catching him in his guard. "The Natural " powers out sweeping Luc with pure strength. "The Natural " is now in side control. Elliott throws his knee into the ribs of "Piranha". Todd Elliott throws his knee into the ribs of Fay. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Elliott connects with a hard punch making Luc bring him in to a tight clinch. Todd Elliott places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Luc takes the back of "The Natural " who works for a kimura. Luc pulls his arm out of the hold and push "The Natural " away. Both fighters begin to exchange Todd catches Luc with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Luc gather himself. Luc says he is ok and the fight continues. A wild hook from Luc Fay is ducked by Elliott who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. A low kick is shin checked by "Piranha" who retaliates with a superman punch that floors "The Natural ". "Piranha" moves back until the ref stands "The Natural " up. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Todd throws a few jabs at Fay that miss the mark. Fay blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. "The Natural " tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Fay connects with a strong right hook. Luc Fay circles away from "The Natural ", landing strong kicks to the lead leg. "The Natural " continually moves away from Fay, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 "Piranha" parries Todd Elliotts jab and lands a hook. "The Natural " is sent backwards from a series of punches from Luc. A wild hook from Elliott is ducked by Luc who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Todd Elliott tries to find his distance but Luc Fay is able to land two looping hooks that stun Todd Elliott, who warily backs away. Luc is pressed into the cage by Todd Elliott. He is able to switch Todd Elliott into the cage and land a couple of looping hooks before backing away. The bell signals the end of round 5.
