Round 1 Rogers attempts a takedown but slips, and "The Natural " backs away. "The Natural " is standing over Rogers. "The Natural " attempts to drop a fist on Ray Rogers, but misses and lands in his guard. Elliott attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Ray Rogers slips out of it at the last moment. Todd distracts Ray with peppering shots. Todd then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Ray is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Rogers attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Todd telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Ray gives up his back to stop the attempt. Giving up his back, Ray Rogers panics and gives up mount instead. Todd postures up and begins to fire off rapid shots from mount but Ray Rogers tripods up and sweeps him over to his back. Ray Rogers quickly gets himself to mount. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Elliott throws a push kick. Rogers shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Todd Elliotts nose.
Rogers sprawls a takedown attempt from Elliott. Elliott eats several punches on the way back to his feet. "The Natural " gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Todd eats a few stiff shots from Ray Rogers, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. "The Natural " pulls Ray close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Todd attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Rogers snaps back the head of Todd Elliott with a stiff jab. "The Natural " narrowly dodges a cross from Ray Rogers, but falls catching him in his guard. Ray defends a triangle attempt, throwing Elliotts straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Todd Elliott is able to hold him to half guard. "The Natural " goes to deep half guard and rocks forward then backward hitting a sweep on Ray and ending up in side control. Ray Rogers is able to get back to full guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Ray Rogers attempts to press in but Elliott uses a inside reaping to put Ray Rogers on the canvas. Elliott hops to side control. Todd Elliott slides his knee across the body of Ray Rogers and takes full mount. Rogers shifts his head and hips to keep "The Natural " off balance and unable to land strikes. Ray gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Todd Elliott tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. "The Natural " lands a series of heavy punches forcing Ray to roll to his back, giving "The Natural " mount. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Ray hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Elliott tries to hyperextend the knee of Ray with a kick to the kneecap. Ray hops back to avoid it. "The Natural " lands a double jab. Ray Rogers hits an uppercut to the head of Todd Elliott followed by a hard hook. Round 5 is finished.
