Round 1 Choe catches a leg kick from Charo, and puts him on the mat. Calderon locks a kimura and forces Choe to defend. Calderon settles for a couple of cross-body chops to Jeongs temple. Choe takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Calderons guard. It doesn't pay off as Calderon makes his way to standing. Jeong parries Calderons jab and connect with a cross. Jeong connects with jab cross combination. Jeong Choe connects with a hard right hand putting Calderon on the mat. Jeong Choe goes down with him into side control. Charo takes a few knees to the body while under Jeongs side control. Calderon gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Calderon dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Jeong standing over him. Choe attempts to drop a fist on Calderon, but misses and lands in his guard. Charo Calderon begins to posture on his side. Jeong lands a couple of outside hooks and Charo Calderon returns to the guard. Calderon is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. Charo connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Charo shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Calderon stuffs a shot from Choe and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Jeong begins to work the rubber guard. Calderon takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Jeongs guard. It doesn't pay off as Jeong Choe makes his way to standing. Charo connects with numerous jabs to the face of Jeong Choe. Charo circles Choe, landing jabs at will. Choe is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Charo attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Choe for his troubles. Calderon throws a knee into Jeong Choes ribs. Jeong Choe tries to scramble to escape any more punishment but gives up his back in the process. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Jeong connects with a strong body shot combo. Calderon circles Jeong, landing jabs at will. Jeong throws a push kick. Calderon shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Choes nose.
Calderon circles Choe, landing jabs and crosses at will. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Charo connects with a series of punches forcing Choe into a clinch. Charo throws a short elbow at Choe. Charo dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Jeong Choe standing over him. Jeong Choe attempts to drop a fist on Charo Calderon, but misses and lands in his guard. Jeong Choe tries to pass guard but Charo Calderon stops him with a well timed punch. Charo lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Calderon connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Jeong Choe forces Calderons leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. The bell signals the end of round 5.
