Round 1 A trip to the ground allows "Unbreakable" to move into the guard of William. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up William Laursens guard and Rego is able to move to half guard. William Laursen tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. "Williamy" hips out allowing him to take Jorge Regos back. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Jorge circles away from William Laursen, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Jorge Rego connects with a series of punches forcing Laursen into a clinch. William Laursen drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Jorge Rego sets a guillotine choke but William Laursen slips out at the last moment. William Laursen is now caught in guard. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Laursen but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. William Laursen is struck by a ball kick from "Unbreakable" that opens him up for a push kick to the midsection. Jorge Rego peppers William Laursen with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. After dodging a jab, Rego lands a kick to the ribs of "Williamy" who winces in pain. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. "Unbreakable" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jorge just misses with a head kick, grazing "Williamys" skull. A wild hook from Jorge Rego is ducked by William Laursen who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Rego lands a hook to the body. The fighters circle each other. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Jorge Rego is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jorge connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. William Laursen hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Jorge. William Laursen connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "Unbreakable". Jorge winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Both fighters begin to exchange William catches Jorge with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Jorge gather himself. Jorge says he is ok and the fight continues. William catches a leg kick from "Unbreakable", and puts him on the mat. Jorge Rego slides his body to the side and pushes out of guard. Laursen grabs a guillotine hold and forces Jorge Rego back down gaining side control. "Williamy" slides his knee across the body of Jorge Rego and takes full mount. Jorge gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The round comes to an end.
