Round 1
Ben connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "PR Nightmare". Ben Popham connects with a hard punch making Caleb bring him in to a tight clinch. Ben works Maldonado into the cage from the clinch. Ben presses his head under "PR Nightmares" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Popham works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ben takes Maldonados back standing. Caleb Maldonado isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Ben lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Caleb Maldonado to release. Maldonado winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Ben connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Caleb who falls to the ground. Ben waves him back to his feet. Caleb Maldonado eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Popham. "Born Again" loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Caleb Maldonado for the mistake. Caleb Maldonado has side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Ben Popham connects with a hard punch making Caleb Maldonado bring him in to a tight clinch. Maldonado receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Popham. "Born Again" takes Calebs back standing. Maldonado isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "Born Again" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Maldonado to release. Popham strikes with a straight front kick. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. A jab from Caleb is blocked and a cross is returned by Popham. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Popham connects with a hard punch making Caleb Maldonado bring him in to a tight clinch. Ben works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ben takes Calebs back standing. "PR Nightmare" isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Ben lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "PR Nightmare" to release. "Born Again" lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Both fighters begin to exchange "Born Again" catches Caleb Maldonado with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Caleb Maldonado gather himself. Caleb Maldonado says he is ok and the fight continues. Caleb lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Popham. Round 3 is over.

Round 4
"Born Again" catches a leg kick from Caleb, and puts him on the mat. Caleb starts to create some distance with his legs, Ben capitalizes by passing to side control. Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
Ben Popham chips away at Caleb Maldonado with a series of kicks to the legs. "Born Again" connects with a jab cross combination. Caleb Maldonado eats a stiff kick to the face. Caleb Maldonado connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Caleb Maldonado connects with a strong body shot combo. Ben Popham just misses with a head kick, grazing Maldonados skull. Popham chips away at Caleb Maldonado with a series of kicks to the legs. Round 5 is over.
