Round 1 Aguilar counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Chris Aguilar connects with a jab cross combination. Akimoto connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Chris Aguilar. Tadashi narrowly dodges a cross from Chris, but falls catching him in his guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Chris Aguilar fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Tadashi Akimoto. Tadashi places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Chris Aguilar drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Akimoto sets a guillotine choke but Chris Aguilar slips out at the last moment. Chris Aguilar is now caught in guard. Chris drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Tadashi snaps back the head of Chris Aguilar with a stiff jab. Akimoto hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Akimoto connects with jab cross combination. Akimoto presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Chris, aggressively pulling guard. A deep cut is open up over the eye of Akimoto from strikes in the guard. The ref stops the fight so the doctor can look at it. The doctor says he can continue. Tadashi Akimoto gets his arm underneath the neck of Chris Aguilar while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head and applies pressure. Chris Aguilar taps out from too much pain.
