Round 1 Jay Haynes lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Jay throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Peter is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Peter Lawson connects with numerous jabs to the face of Haynes. Jay Haynes connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Lawson. Lawson catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Jay. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Haynes narrowly dodges a cross from Peter Lawson, but falls catching him in his guard. Peter drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Peter Lawson drops a few strong punches, opening up Hayness guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Haynes gets pummeled by the fists of Peter Lawson. Haynes gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Haynes carefully protects himself from Peters strikes. Haynes is able to make it back to the standing position. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Jay Haynes receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Peter. Lawson takes Jays back standing. Haynes isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Lawson lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Haynes to release. Haynes attempts a takedown but slips, and Lawson backs away. Lawson is standing over Haynes. Peter Lawson drops a huge strike to Hayness chin, landing into his guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Jay Haynes hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Peter Lawson. Haynes lands a double jab. Peter Lawson gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Jay peppers shot to the head of Peter Lawson looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Peter Lawson is hand playing well. Peter starts to wiggle out of back control, Haynes lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Peter throws a hard jab but Haynes throws a cross right over the top rocking Peter. Peter Lawson grabs for a clinch but Haynes grazes him with an uppercut. Peter Lawson staggers back, then surprises Haynes with a powerful superman punch.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Jay Haynes connects with a strong body shot combo. The fighters circle each other. Jay Haynes snaps back the head of Lawson with a stiff jab. Lawson is staggered by a jab to the chin. Peter Lawson parries Hayness jab and lands an uppercut. Peter throws a hard jab but Haynes throws a cross right over the top rocking Peter. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Jay Haynes narrowly dodges a cross from Peter, but falls catching him in his guard. Jay Haynes attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Lawson slips out at the last moment. Peter postures up from guard looking for punches but Jay Haynes grabs both his hands and stretches him out. Using his momentum against him Jay Haynes back somersaults bringing Peter with him ending with Jay Haynes having full mount. Lawson lands a good elbow as Haynes lowers his torso. Peter is hit with multiple punches, and taps out.
