Round 1
Poncho Gallegos weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Gallegos throws a push kick. Poncho lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by " Creepy Neighbor". Alvarez connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Javi parries Ponchos jab and connect with a cross that floors Gallegos. Javi Alvarez kicks at the legs of Gallegos and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Gallegos to stand. " Creepy Neighbor" slips a cross from Poncho Gallegos and lands jab cross to the body. Alvarez ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Gallegos and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Javi Alvarez lands a hook to the body. Gallegos is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Javi Alvarez prepares to pounce, but Gallegos gets his bearings just in time. Poncho attempts a striking combination, but Javi forces the clinch. Poncho Gallegos works Alvarez into the cage from the clinch.
