It doesn't pay off as Lamar makes his way to standing. Wen parries Lamar Palmers jab and connect with a cross. Wen connects with a strong right hook. Round 2 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Lamar Palmer winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Round 3 Lamar Palmer lands a devastating overhand right on Wen Chia. "Red Son" parries "Brawlers" jab and connect with a cross. "Red Son" is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Lamar Palmer. Chia parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Palmer lands a double jab. "Brawler" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of "Red Son". Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 "Red Son" is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Lamar Palmer. Lamar Palmer parries Wens jab and lands an uppercut. Lamar Palmer hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. "Brawler" connects with numerous jabs to the face of Wen. "Red Son" ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. "Red Son" is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines "Red Son" can continue. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 "Red Sons" legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch.
