Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. "DaDa 2500" presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto "Dinomite", aggressively pulling guard. Dino distracts Townsend with some peppering shots. Dino then isolates a leg and falls back into a achilles lock. Townsend is able to force his way out of it but gives up half guard in the ensuing scramble. Jermain goes to deep half guard and grabs the arm of Dino Bozic and sweeps him forward into side control. Jermain Townsend traps the near arm and begins to set a kimura on the opposing arm. Dino is unable to defend and its sunk deep. He eventually taps.
