Round 1 Afanasyev connects with a hard jab as Lamar attempts a wide outside hook. Afanasyev connects with a strong right hook. After dodging a jab-cross, Palmer lands a kick to the liver of "The Chiropractor" who steps back and begins to take a knee. Palmer rushes forward to capitalize but "The Chiropractor" stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Lamar lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Vladik tries to find his distance but "Brawler" is able to land two looping hooks that stun Vladik, who warily backs away. Vladik Afanasyev hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Palmer tries to hyperextend the knee of Vladik with a kick to the kneecap. Vladik hops back to avoid it. "Brawler" unleashes a flurry of punches on "The Chiropractor". Vladiks legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. As Lamar Palmer presses forward Vladik throws a wild spinning backfist. Lamar Palmer leans away from the strike and lands a couple of strong punches that staggers Vladik. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 After dodging a jab-cross, Lamar Palmer lands a kick to the liver of Afanasyev who steps back and begins to take a knee. Vladik shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Lamars nose.
"Brawler" connects with a hard punch making "The Chiropractor" bring him in to a tight clinch. Lamar Palmer takes the back of Afanasyev who works for a kimura. Lamar Palmer pulls his arm out of the hold and push Afanasyev away. Vladik Afanasyev attempts a takedown but slips, and Lamar Palmer backs away. Lamar Palmer is standing over Vladik Afanasyev. Lamar Palmer drops a huge strike to Vladiks chin, landing into his guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Vladik Afanasyev narrowly dodges a cross from Lamar Palmer, but falls catching him in his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Lamar Palmer across the face. Lamar Palmer lands a series of return strikes. Vladik Afanasyev attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Afanasyev gets pummeled by the fists of Palmer. Afanasyev gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Palmer peppers shot to the head of Vladik looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Vladik is hand playing well. Vladik Afanasyev starts to wiggle out of back control, Lamar Palmer lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Brawler" lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Lamar Palmer takes the back of Afanasyev who works for a kimura. Lamar Palmer pulls his arm out of the hold and push Afanasyev away. Vladik attempts a takedown but slips, and "Brawler" backs away. "Brawler" is standing over Vladik. "Brawler" drops a powerful fist onto Vladik Afanasyev. Vladiks eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
