Round 1 A shot catches Panchito Rivera off balance and off guard. Vico grabs him by the waist, lifts him, swings him through and slams in onto the ground. Panchito Rivera scrambles well and works to guard. Rivera begins to posture on his side. "El Ladron" lands a couple of outside hooks and Rivera returns to the guard. Panchito Rivera attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Panchito winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Rivera throws a cross that easily dodged by "El Ladron". "El Ladron" stuffs a shot from Panchito Rivera and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Rivera almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Vico Padilla slides his knee across the body of Panchito Rivera and takes full mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Panchito reaches down and trips Vico with a beautiful ankle pick. Panchito dives into his guard. Panchito Rivera drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Vico Padilla backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. "El Ladron" attempts a lazy shot, which "El Diablillo" sprawls, eventually taking "El Ladron" back. Panchito Rivera peppers shot to the head of Vico looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Vico is hand playing well. Vico Padilla tries to stand up but Panchito Rivera plants him back down with several strikes. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Panchito Rivera is staggered by a jab to the chin. Vico Padilla fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Panchito to the cage. Panchito swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Panchito Rivera shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Panchito works for a triangle but Padilla throws Riveras straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Rivera defends short shots well by turning his head. Padilla attempts to get a leg free to pass but Rivera has it locked down too well. "El Diablillo" defends short shots well by turning his head. Padilla attempts to get a leg free to pass but "El Diablillo" has it locked down too well. Vico Padilla slips out of half guard and into side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Panchito Rivera reaches down and trips Vico Padilla with a beautiful ankle pick. Panchito Rivera dives into back control. Panchito Rivera lands a double punch to the head of Vico Padilla. Vico Padilla starts to wiggle out of back control, Rivera lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Panchito wraps around Vico Padillas waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Panchito attempts an armbar, but "El Ladron" stops the attempt. Panchito uses the oppurtunity to take mount. "El Ladron" shifts his head and hips to keep Panchito Rivera off balance and unable to land strikes. "El Diablillo" lands a double punch to the head of Vico. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Vico Padilla attempts a lazy shot, which Panchito sprawls, eventually taking Vico Padilla back. Panchito slides to the side and spanks the butt of "El Ladron" in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Vico Padilla starts to wiggle out of back control, Panchito Rivera lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "El Diablillo" connects with a hard right hand putting Vico on the mat. "El Diablillo" goes down with him into side control. Panchito slides his knee across the body of Padilla and takes full mount. Vico Padilla attempts to buck Panchito Rivera off from mount but Panchito Rivera keeps his base and maintains position. Panchito Rivera secures his position. Round 5 comes to a close.
