Round 1 Mike throws a hard jab but "The King of the Ring" throws a cross right over the top rocking Mike. A left high kick from Mike Nolan keeps Ahrens at bay. Emanuel Ahrens lands a hook to the body. "The King of the Ring" lands a lunging, looping hook to Mike Nolans temple. Mike lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Round 2 Ahrens is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Nolan. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Mike Nolan grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts "The King of the Ring" on the floor. Nolan lays into Emanuels thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Ahrens does so. Mike Nolan unleashes a flurry of punches on Emanuel Ahrens. Nolan connects with a hard punch making "The King of the Ring" bring him in to a tight clinch. Mike lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Mike grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Emanuel Ahrens. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Emanuel Ahrens unleashes several furious punches at "The Architect". "The Architect" lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Mike Nolan tries to find his distance but Ahrens is able to land two looping hooks that stun Mike Nolan, who warily backs away. Ahrens pushes away from Mike and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Nolan lands multiple inside leg kicks that have "The King of the Ring" circling away. Ahrens lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Mike. Ahrens then switch kicks Mike on the opposing rib. Emanuel Ahrens weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. A cross from Mike Nolan is parried followed by an uppercut from "The King of the Ring". Ahrens connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. "The Architect" hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. A lazy leg kick from Mike Nolan is caught by Ahrens who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Mike Nolan. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Ahrens connects with a jab cross combination. "The King of the Ring" is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Mike Nolan welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes "The King of the Ring" back to striking distance. Mike fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Emanuel Ahrens. "The King of the Ring" takes Mike Nolans back standing. Mike Nolan isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "The King of the Ring" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Mike Nolan to release. Emanuel Ahrens attempts a jab but is countered by a hard left leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by a picture perfect right hand from Nolan that knocks him to the ground. Mike drops a huge strike to Emanuels chin, landing into his guard. Two heavy strikes from Nolan dazes Emanuel. Nolan crawls over to side mount. Nolan throws his knee into the ribs of "The King of the Ring". Mike Nolan lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Mike Nolan takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Emanuel to hit him harder. Mike parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Emanuel Ahrens throws a hard jab but Mike throws a cross right over the top rocking Emanuel Ahrens. Mike Nolan lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Emanuel Ahrens circling away. Mike takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. After dodging a jab, Ahrens lands a kick to the ribs of Mike Nolan who winces in pain. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Round 5 comes to a close.
