Round 1 Herod connects with a series of punches forcing Clive Martel into a clinch. Kalil Herod throws a short elbow at Clive. Kalil takes Martels back standing, but Clive isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Kalil squirms out and both fighters end up standing. "Canadian Sedation" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Crowd boos loudly as Martel shuffles around the cage avoiding any combat. Kalil Herod looks at the referee in disgust. Herod throws a leg kick. Martel shin checks the kick. He then leaps up to land a crushing knee strike to the chin of Herod. Herod stumbles back. Clive blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Herod tries to press the action but is met with a jab-cross then an uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Clive Martel throws a short kick to the downed Kalil. Kalil takes the chance to rise back to his feet. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Kalil Herod circles Clive, landing jabs and crosses at will. Kalil executes a single leg giving him the back of "Canadian Sedation". "Canadian Sedation" carefully protects himself from Kalils strikes. Martel slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Both fighters begin to exchange Kalil catches Clive Martel with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Clive Martel gather himself. Clive Martel says he is ok and the fight continues. Martel slips a cross from Kalil Herod and lands an uppercut to the liver. Clive connects with a hard punch and dives in mounting Kalil. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Herod winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. The fighters circle each other. Herod attempts a takedown but slips, and Clive Martel backs away. Clive Martel is standing over Herod. Clive lays into Kalil Herods thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Kalil does so. Clive parries Kalil Herods jab and lands a hook that floors Kalil. Herod thrusts his leg into Clive Martels knee while grounded. Clive Martel hovers over Kalil pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Kalil sends a hard up kick that rocks Clive Martel. Kalil stands back up. Kalil throws a leg kick. Clive shin checks the kick. He then leaps up to land a crushing knee strike to the chin of Kalil. Kalil stumbles back. "Canadian Sedation" gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Clive winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Kalil connects with numerous jabs to the face of Clive. Martel parries Kalils jab and connect with a cross. Clive Martel throws a push kick. Kalil Herod shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into "Canadian Sedations" nose.
Clive connects with a teep to the face of Herod.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Herod connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Martel narrowly dodges a cross from Herod, but falls catching him in his guard. Herod takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Clive Martels guard. It doesn't pay off as Martel makes his way to standing. Kalil parries Martels jab and connect with a cross. Clive Martel connects with a hard punch making Kalil Herod bring him in to a tight clinch. Martel dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Herod standing over him. Kalil Herod lays into "Canadian Sedation" with some stomps. "Canadian Sedation" can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
