Round 1 Bo connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Herbert winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Levesque throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Bo puts Levesque on the mat giving his back up. Herbert Levesque eats a few stiff shots from Tang, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Bo Tang secures his position. Herbert bucks Bo Tang off and sweeps him over getting into his half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Tang is staggered by a jab to the chin. Herbert Levesque lands a double jab. Herbert throws a hard jab but Bo throws a cross right over the top rocking Herbert. Bo Tang narrowly dodges a cross from Levesque, but falls catching him in his guard.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Herbert connects with a series of punches forcing Bo into a clinch. Levesque works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Herbert Levesque escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A single-leg attempt is well defended by Bo. Levesque stands up, lifting the leg of Bo and executing a trip takedown. Bo Tang works for a triangle but Levesque throws Bo Tangs straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Tang tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Levesque catches a leg kick from Tang, and puts him on the mat. A kimura attempt from Bo Tang is countered by a punch from Herbert Levesque, who then transitions to half guard. Herbert tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Herbert Levesque presses his foot onto the thigh of Tang to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Bo takes a few knees to the body while under Herbert Levesques side control. Tang takes a few knees to the body while under Herberts side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Herbert Levesque stuffs a shot from Tang and strikes two solid knees to his skull. Tang is stunned and Herbert Levesque takes mount with in a quick scramble. Herbert Levesque jumps out of mount and back to dominant side control. The bell signals the end of round 5.
