Round 1 Goh Ren lands a solid kick to the front leg of Joey. Joey Gallagher attempts a striking combination, but Ren forces the clinch. A strong elbow forces Gallagher to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Goh cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Joey back to his feet. Joey begins a combination but Ren ducks down, picking Gallaghers leg. Ren lifts Gallaghers leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. Goh Ren chucks Joey Gallaghers legs to a side to attempt a soccer kick but misses and he elects to sprawl into side control. Ren throws his knee into the ribs of Joey Gallagher. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Goh Ren is staggered by a jab to the chin. Gallagher throws a push kick. Ren shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Gallaghers nose.
Joey attempts a striking combination, but Ren forces the clinch. Gallagher fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Goh Ren up for a flurry of hooks. A running flurry from Gallagher is countered by a shovel punch to the jaw. Ren then grabs the plum and throws Gallagher to the ground, immediately striking Joey Gallaghers thighs. Ren pounces on Joey, but is met with a powerful upkick. Ren manages to land into side control though. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Ren dodges a jab and clinches with Joey, delivering a knee as he does so. Goh fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Joey Gallagher. Joey Gallagher drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Goh attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Goh Ren locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Joey Gallagher. A full foot sweep knocks Joey Gallagher to the ground. Goh Ren drops a huge strike to Gallaghers chin, landing into his guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Gallagher circles Goh Ren, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Joey lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Joey works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ren recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. The fighters circle each other. Ren is dizzied on his feet from a furious punching sequence from Gallagher. Joey peppers Ren with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. Goh Ren takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 Goh circles Joey, landing jabs and crosses at will. Joey Gallagher unleashes several furious punches at Goh Ren. Gallagher is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Ren prepares to pounce, but Gallagher gets his bearings just in time. Ren throws a short kick to the downed Joey Gallagher. Joey Gallagher takes the chance to rise back to his feet. Joey throws a hard jab but Goh throws a cross right over the top that knocks Joey to the ground. As Gallagher attempts to keep Goh Ren in front of him, Goh Ren grabs Gallaghers ankle and viciously lays into his thigh with multiple kicks. Goh Ren kicks at the legs of Joey Gallagher and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Joey Gallagher to stand. Goh unleashes a flurry of punches on Joey. Goh continually moves away from Gallagher, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. Round 5 comes to a close.
