Round 1 Carters legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. "DBA Tiger" locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Gabe Carter. Gabe drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Ronnie sets a guillotine choke but Gabe slips out at the last moment. Gabe is now caught in guard. Ronnie Henderson backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Ronnie fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Late Bloomer". "DBA Tiger" grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts "Late Bloomer" on the floor. Ronnie Henderson stands over Gabe, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Gabe cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Ronnie Henderson snaps back the head of "Late Bloomer" with a stiff jab. Ronnie Henderson presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Gabe Carter to the mat. Ronnie Henderson follows him into the guard. Carter begins to posture on his side. Ronnie Henderson lands a couple of outside hooks and Carter returns to the guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by "DBA Tiger" and he is able to sneak his leg through Gabes loose guard, to half guard. "DBA Tiger" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Gabe Carter hits an upward elbow on Ronnie Henderson, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Ronnie Henderson takes side control. Ronnie Henderson delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Carter to turn over. Ronnie Henderson takes the back. Gabe starts to wiggle out of back control, "DBA Tiger" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Ronnie Henderson circles Gabe Carter, landing jabs at will. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 A trip to the ground allows "Late Bloomer" to move into the guard of Ronnie. Carter pulls out of the guard of "DBA Tiger", stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of "DBA Tiger". "Late Bloomer" drops some elbows from guard, giving him a brief moment to switch over to side control. Gabe attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Henderson for his troubles. Gabe slides his knee across the body of Ronnie Henderson and takes full mount. Gabe lands a double punch to the head of Henderson. Ronnie bucks off "Late Bloomer" and sweeps him over to his back getting into his half guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 A trip to the ground allows "Late Bloomer" to move into the guard of "DBA Tiger". Ronnie Henderson is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Carter. "DBA Tiger" starts to create some distance with his legs, Gabe Carter capitalizes by passing to side control. "DBA Tiger" takes a few knees to the body while under Carters side control. "Late Bloomer" slides his knee across the body of Henderson and takes full mount. Gabe executes a double hand slap to the ears of Henderson. "Late Bloomer" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Gabe reaches down and trips Ronnie with a beautiful ankle pick. Gabe dives into his guard. Carter pushes down Ronnie Hendersons leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Gabe Carter tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Gabe Carter presses his foot onto the thigh of Henderson to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Gabe attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Henderson for his troubles. Henderson sneaks a leg back under the body of Carter to achieve a defensive half guard. Henderson tries to scramble out of half guard, but Gabe takes his back during it. "Late Bloomer" is working a furious pace on Henderson, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Gabe Carter lands undefended strikes to the side of Ronnie Hendersons head. The ref stops the fight.
