Round 1 Dave dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Eckart. Dave catches a leg kick from "Ze Flying Arm", and puts him on the mat. "Ze Flying Arm" begins to posture on his side. Ward lands a couple of outside hooks and "Ze Flying Arm" returns to the guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Dave Ward and he is able to sneak his leg through Eckart Bahrs loose guard, to half guard. "Pipe Bomb" slams his knee into Bahrs ribs. Dave Ward slips out of half guard and into side control. "Ze Flying Arm" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "Ze Flying Arm" starts to wiggle out of back control, Dave lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Ward ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Eckart to the mat, and his back. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Eckart Bahr connects with a hard punch making Dave bring him in to a tight clinch. Eckart lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Ward grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Eckart. Eckart connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "Pipe Bomb". "Pipe Bomb" connects with a strong body shot combo. Eckart Bahr eats a stiff kick to the face. Eckart Bahr parries Wards jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Dave Ward. Dave Ward rolls to his back with Eckart Bahr standing over him. Eckart stands over Dave, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Dave cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "Ze Flying Arm" connects with a series of punches forcing "Pipe Bomb" into a clinch. "Ze Flying Arm" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Dave Ward attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Eckart Bahr now is in dominant side mount. Bahr attempts an armbar, but Dave Ward stops the attempt. Bahr uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Eckart Bahr executes a double hand slap to the ears of "Pipe Bomb". The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Bahr shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. "Ze Flying Arm" slides his knee across the body of Dave Ward and takes full mount. Eckart Bahr splits Daves nose open with a well timed punch. Dave gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Dave Ward carefully protects himself from Bahrs strikes. Eckart throws a few punches opening Ward up to a deep rear naked choke. Ward can only tap out.
