Round 1 Jay Davis connects with a hard punch making Bell bring him in to a tight clinch. Jay works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Bell takes "Dick Doctors" back standing. Jay isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Bell lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Jay to release. Jay Davis circles Everett, landing jabs at will. A welt begins to form under Jay Daviss eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Everett. Davis winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. A looping right hook from Jay Davis sends Everett Bell to the mat. "Dick Doctor" stands over Everett, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Everett cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jay Davis connects with a hard punch making Everett bring him in to a tight clinch. Jay Davis gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Everett Bell grabs the plum and pulls Jays face into a powerful knee. A couple of powerful body shots forces Everett back to the cage. Jay Davis swims to double underhooks. Everett cannot stop Jay Davis from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Davis pushes down Bells leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Davis tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Everett Bell fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Jay. Jay Davis gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Everett attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Jay pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. A shot is side stepped by Everett but quick reflexes and footwork lead to a second attempt that takes down Everett. "Dick Doctor" settles into his guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by "Dick Doctor" and he is able to sneak his leg through Everetts loose guard, to half guard. Everett is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Jay attempts a takedown, but Everett Bell clumsily falls down without much provocation. "Dick Doctor" drops a huge strike to Bells chin, landing into his guard. Jay sits up and fakes a double axehandle to the face, instead striking the body. Everett pulls Jay close while he regains his breath. Everett Bell attempts to create some space from his guard, but Jay sees the opening and passes to full mount. Jay throws some outside strikes at Everett. Everett Bell gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Bell rolls back into being mounted. Everett attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Everett connects with a strong body shot combo. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Everett is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the canvas. "Dick Doctor" falls into guard and eventually works to half guard. The bell signals the end of round 5.
