Round 1 A welt begins to form under Bruce Greenes eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Russell. Barry Russell throws a crisp jab, but Bruce Greene slips it and moves in for the clinch. Bruce takes the back of Russell who works for a kimura. Bruce pulls his arm out of the hold and push Russell away. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Bruce Greene keeps Russell off balance and uses a large outer wheel trip to take side control. Greene lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Greene moves to Kesa Gatame side control and immediately gets Barry Russell into arm lockdown. Greene applies pressure to the neck while cranking down on the arm with his legs.
