Round 1 Everson takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Both fighters begin to exchange Levesque catches "Black Forrest Gump" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Black Forrest Gump" gather himself. "Black Forrest Gump" says he is ok and the fight continues. Herbert Levesque connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Black Forrest Gump". "Black Forrest Gump" connects with a strong body shot combo. Levesque throws a few jabs at "Black Forrest Gump" that miss the mark. Herbert circles Everson Warner, mixing jabs and leg kicks. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Levesque ducks under to the back of "Black Forrest Gump" and hops up getting both hooks in. Levesque applies a deep choke. "Black Forrest Gump" fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Warner drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Herbert Levesque sets a guillotine choke but Warner slips out at the last moment. Warner is now caught in guard. Herbert Levesque tries for a kimura from the bottom. Everson Warner throws an outside punch and Herbert Levesque releases the hold. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. A wild hook from "Black Forrest Gump" is ducked by Herbert Levesque who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Herbert Levesque fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Everson. Levesque escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Herbert Levesque plows through Warner with a driving double leg takedown. Levesque takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Everson Warners guard. It doesn't pay off as Everson Warner makes his way to standing. A trip to the ground allows Everson Warner to move into the guard of Herbert. Levesque powers out sweeping Everson Warner with pure strength. Levesque is now in side control. "Black Forrest Gump" takes a few knees to the body while under Herberts side control. "Black Forrest Gump" takes a few knees to the body while under Levesques side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Levesque fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Warner. Herbert Levesque lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Everson escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Black Forrest Gump" throws a hard jab but Levesque throws a cross right over the top that knocks "Black Forrest Gump" to the ground. Levesque drops a huge strike to Everson Warners chin, landing into his guard. Herbert sits up in Warners open guard and spins to an leg lock. Everson Warner is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Warner narrowly dodges a cross from Levesque, but falls catching him in his guard. Warner connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Herbert forces Eversons leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Everson works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. "Black Forrest Gump" is in the clinch, but drops levels, scoops Levesque up and slams him hard onto the floor. Warner slides his knee across the body of Levesque and takes full mount. Warner is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Herbert Levesque is now caught in Eversons guard. Round 5 comes to a close.
