Round 1 Trey Cobb connects with numerous jabs to the face of "El Silbon". A shot from Trey Cobb is countered by a guillotine from Ramirez. Trey Cobb follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. Trey wraps the arm of David Ramirez behind his back and traps it. Trey pounds away with shots to the face. David gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. David tries to explode out the backdoor but Cobb sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. David falls flat to protect himself. Cobb lands a double punch to the head of David. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Cobb attempts to press in on "El Silbon" but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Cobb connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Trey Cobb eats a stiff kick to the face. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. David Ramirez is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Cobb dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Ramirez standing over him. "El Silbon" lays into Trey Cobbs thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Trey does so. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Trey Cobb reaches down and trips David with a beautiful ankle pick. Trey Cobb dives into back control. Trey Cobb is working a furious pace on "El Silbon", intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. David starts to wiggle out of back control, Cobb lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Cobb wraps around David Ramirezs waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Trey slides his knee across the body of David Ramirez and takes full mount. Cobb lands a double punch to the head of David. David pulls his leg out from under Cobb and gets back to half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 David parries Trey Cobbs jab and connect with a cross. David Ramirez takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. David winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Trey Cobb connects with a strong body shot combo. Trey Cobb tries to hyperextend the knee of "El Silbon" with a kick to the kneecap. "El Silbon" hops back to avoid it. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Trey Cobb is rocked by a standing elbow strike. David Ramirez presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Trey Cobb survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Ramirez connects with numerous jabs to the face of Cobb. David Ramirez circles Trey, landing jabs at will. Ramirez parries Trey Cobbs jab and connect with a cross. Both fighters begin to exchange "El Silbon" catches Cobb with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Cobb gather himself. Cobb says he is ok and the fight continues. "El Silbon" throws a hard jab but Trey Cobb throws a cross right over the top rocking "El Silbon". The round comes to an end.
