Round 1 Lou Duncan snaps back the head of Frye with a stiff jab. Cody Frye lands a devastating overhand right on Lou. Lou Duncan looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Cody Frye lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Frye connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Lou hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Cody throws a cross that easily dodged by Lou Duncan. Lou Duncan winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Cody is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Duncan tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Cody that puts him on the floor. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Cody Frye lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Cody Frye feints and follows up with a hard cross. Duncan stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Cody Frye throws a cross that easily dodged by Lou. Cody Frye connects with a strong right hook. Frye shuffles away from Lou Duncans strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Duncan backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Lou snaps back the head of Cody Frye with a stiff jab. Frye winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Frye circles Lou Duncan, landing jabs at will. Duncan catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Cody. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lou works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Duncan dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Cody standing over him. Frye attempts to drop a fist on Duncan, but misses and lands in his guard. Cody tries to pass guard but Lou stops him with a well timed punch. Lou fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Cody. Lou keeps his head down in the chest of Cody to avoid any submission attempts. Lou leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Lou attempts to create some space from his guard, but Cody Frye sees the opening and passes to full mount. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Duncan weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Lou Duncan connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Cody. Frye slips a cross and lands a kick to the inside leg of Lou. Lou Duncan lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Duncan connects with jab cross combination. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Lou Duncan connects with a hard punch making Cody Frye bring him in to a tight clinch. Cody receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Lou Duncan. Cody takes the back of Duncan who works for a kimura. Cody pulls his arm out of the hold and push Duncan away. Frye lands a hook to the body. Frye connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Lou Duncan stuffs a shot from Cody Frye and strikes two solid knees to his skull. Cody Frye is stunned and Lou Duncan takes mount with in a quick scramble. The round comes to an end.
