Ian Stanley drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Cyril Naldi sets a guillotine choke but Ian Stanley slips out at the last moment. Ian Stanley is now caught in guard. Cyril works to the butterfly guard. Stanley tries to throw a punch but is off balance and Cyril shoots up to a standing position. Ian begins to clinch with Cyril Naldi, but Cyril Naldi presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. A welt begins to form under Stanleys eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Cyril. Cyril throws a few jabs at Ian that miss the mark. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5 Cyril Naldi strikes with a straight front kick. Cyril lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Ian. Cyril chips away at Ian Stanley with a series of kicks to the legs. Ian eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Cyril. Cyril Naldi is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control.Round 5 comes to a close.
