Round 1 Ali parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Tiago Gonzalez throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Habibi is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Thailand" attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Ali pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. "Thailand" catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Habibi. "Thailand" drops a huge strike to Alis chin, landing into his guard. "Thailand" forces Ali Habibis leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Ali Habibi takes a few knees to the body while under "Thailands" side control. Ali Habibi sneaks a leg back under the body of "Thailand" to achieve a defensive half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Tiago shuffles away from Ali Habibis strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Habibi backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Habibi is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Habibi circles Tiago, landing jabs and crosses at will. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Habibi gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Tiago Gonzalez grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Ali on the floor. "Thailand" stands over Habibi, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Habibi cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Ali Habibi connects with a hard jab as "Thailand" attempts a wide outside hook. Habibi attempts a striking combination, but Tiago forces the clinch. Tiago Gonzalez throws a short elbow at Ali Habibi. Tiago stomps the feet of Ali. Ali recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. A welt begins to form under Tiago Gonzalezs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Ali. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Ali Habibi is leading with his head during his combos and Tiago Gonzalez makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. Ali Habibi shakes it off as he steps back. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. "Thailand" keeps Habibi at a distance with some well timed jabs. "Thailand" snaps back the head of Ali Habibi with a stiff jab. Ali attempts a striking combination, but Tiago Gonzalez forces the clinch. Habibi is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. A strong elbow forces Ali to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Tiago dances around Ali Habibis legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Tiago lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. After dodging a jab, Gonzalez lands a kick to the ribs of Ali who winces in pain. Ali Habibi is leading with his head during his combos and Tiago Gonzalez makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. Ali Habibi shakes it off as he steps back. Tiago Gonzalez circles Ali, mixing jabs with body shots. Gonzalez clinches with Habibi and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Habibi for a trip takedown, landing Gonzalez is half guard. Round 5 comes to a close.
