Round 1 Russell connects with jab cross combination. Del stuffs a shot from Russell and hits him with an outside body shot. Russell gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Del drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Hill pushes down Russells leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Hill is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Barry gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Barry starts to wiggle out of back control, Hill lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Del Hill throws a few jabs at Russell that miss the mark. Del connects with a hard punch and dives in mounting Russell. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Barry throws a hard jab but Del throws a cross right over the top rocking Barry. Russell shoots in on Del Hill who sprawls well and lands multiple outside strikes. Russell gives up on the shot and rolls to his guard. Del Hill opens up the guard and rises back to his feet. Del hovers over Russell pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Russell sends a hard up kick that rocks Del. Russell stands back up. Barry Russell shoots in on Del but cannot finish the takedown. Del lands a couple of knees to the head, forcing Barry Russell to roll to his guard. Barry Russell is hit hard by an elbow from in the guard. Del Hill follows up with three more strong elbows and an overhand haymaker that leaves Barry Russell unconscious.
