Round 1 Lou plows through Clyde Carter with a driving double leg takedown. A right hand from Clyde Carter while in guard angers Lou Duncan who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. Clyde Carter attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Duncan throws a few jabs at Carter that miss the mark. Both fighters begin to exchange Lou Duncan catches Carter with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Carter gather himself. Carter says he is ok and the fight continues. Carter takes a punch and goes to the mat, Lou pounces into side control. Carter recovers quickly. Clyde almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Duncan lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Lou connects with a hard punch making Clyde Carter bring him in to a tight clinch. Lou receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Carter. A strong elbow forces Lou to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Carter attempts to drop a fist on Duncan, but misses and lands in his guard. Lou Duncan goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Clyde Carter slips out at the last second. Carter pulls out of the guard of Lou, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Lou. Carter pulls out of the guard of Lou, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Lou. Clyde attempts to spin to a kneebar but Duncan is ready for it. He twists out and scramble to side control. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Carter circles Lou Duncan, mixing jabs with body shots. Lou Duncan throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Clyde Carter. Clyde gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Carter rolls back into being mounted. Duncan throws some outside strikes at Carter. Lou Duncan jumps out of mount and back to dominant side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Clyde is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Duncan prepares to pounce, but Clyde gets his bearings just in time. Lou stands over Carter, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Carter is able to grab an arm and pull Lou into his guard. Clyde Carter attempts an armbar. Lou Duncan time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Carters guard. Lou Duncan takes advantage of a mental laps from Clyde and moves into full mount. Lou splits Clydes nose open with a well timed punch. Carter gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Clyde Carter panics and gives up mount instead. Lou begins to lose position so switches back to side control. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Lou connects with a right that puts Clyde off balance tumbling to the mat, as Lou towers over him. Duncan drops a huge strike to Carters chin, landing into his guard. A right hand from Clyde Carters guard angers Lou who returns the favor with a powerful left hand. Lou Duncan passes through Carters guard into mount. Lou punishes Clyde Carter with a series of strikes from the mount. Clyde gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Lou Duncan attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Clyde Carter rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Lou secures his position. Round 5 comes to a close.
