Round 1 Jesse Combs traps Greene in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bruce Greene drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Decision" sets a guillotine choke but Bruce Greene slips out at the last moment. Bruce Greene is now caught in guard. Jesse Combs backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Greene is sent backwards from a series of punches from Combs. Jesse blocks a strong high kick from Bruce Greene and counters with a devastating left hook. The fighters circle each other. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jesse Combs eats a strong cross as Bruce Greene moves into the clinch. While tied up Greene executes a shoulder throw giving him dominant side control. Bruce lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Combs sneaks a leg back under the body of Greene to achieve a defensive half guard. Bruce Greene is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Combs gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jesse Combs tries to explode out the backdoor but Greene sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Jesse Combs falls flat to protect himself. Bruce works his arm around the neck of Jesse Combs attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Jesse Combs hand fights well. Jesse Combs spins through into the guard of Bruce. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Combs circles Bruce Greene, landing jabs and crosses at will. Jesse Combs lands a hook to the body. Greene throws a hard jab but Combs throws a cross right over the top rocking Greene. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Both fighters begin to exchange Greene catches "Decision" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Decision" gather himself. "Decision" says he is ok and the fight continues. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bruce takes Jesse Combss back standing. Bruce lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. "Decision" is able to work his way back around. A knee to the midsection by Bruce is seamlessly followed by a large wheel throw that puts Combs under Greenes side mount. Greene lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Greene attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Jesse Combs for his troubles. "Decision" sweeps over Greene and quickly obtains mount position. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 "Decision" throws a push kick. Bruce shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Jesse Combss nose.
Bruce throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Greene grabs the plum and pulls "Decisions" face into a powerful knee. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bruce takes "Decisions" back standing. Bruce lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Jesse Combs is able to work his way back around. Combs attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Bruce now is in dominant side mount. Jesse Combs takes a few knees to the body while under Greenes side control. Jesse Combs is wisely defending a kimura. Greene attempts to take it but Jesse Combs is having none of it, though Greene has used the chance the slide into mount. Round 5 comes to a close.
