Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Henry Spencer lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Henry dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Justin standing over him. Justin attempts to drop a fist on "Poyel", but misses and lands in his guard. "Poyel" shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. "Poyel" keeps his head down in the chest of Justin Ramsey to avoid any submission attempts. "Poyel" leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Ramsey tries to move to half guard but "Poyel" uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Henry attempts an ambar from the guard. Justin defends it but is switched to mount. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Spencer takes down Justin Ramsey, but remains standing over him. Henry Spencer drops a huge strike to Justin Ramseys chin, landing into his guard. Henry Spencer passes through Justins guard into mount. Ramsey gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Henry peppers "Hit Me Harder" with several shots to the face. Henry tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Spencer is hit with a strong inside leg kick that staggers him. "Hit Me Harder" takes advantage of the situation, tackling him and taking half guard. Henry snatches a kimura lock but Justin Ramsey spins around quickly to the other side holding dominant side control. Justin lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "Poyel" gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Ramsey spins around to take it, "Poyel" makes his way back to his feet. Henry Spencer is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. "Hit Me Harder" falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Justin locks a kimura but Henry is too strong and he cannot finish it. He settles for a couple shots to "Poyels" face. "Poyel" shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Spencer gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Justin connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Henry Spencer fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Justin. Henry Spencer uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown, landing in full guard. Justin Ramsey backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Henry narrowly dodges a cross from Justin Ramsey, but falls catching him in his guard. Henry fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Justin Ramsey. Henry Spencer keeps his head down in the chest of Justin Ramsey to avoid any submission attempts. Henry Spencer leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. While in his opponents guard Ramsey powers himself and Henry up in the air and slams him down to the canvas.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch "Poyel" wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of "Hit Me Harder". Henry slides his knee across the body of Justin Ramsey and takes full mount. "Poyel" secures his position. Justin gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Poyel" peppers shot to the head of Justin looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Justin is hand playing well. Justin tripods up, causing Henry to fall forward. As Henry tries to scramble up Justin lands a lunging hook, putting Henry on the ground. Justin stands up and looks to the ref to force Henry into standing. The ref does not comply.Round 5 comes to a close.
