"Grand" lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Ely Artigas. Zayar weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. "Grand" lands a strong outside leg kick but is met with a counter hook from Artigas that puts him on the floor. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Artigas attempts to press in on "Grand" but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ely dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Zayar Salemi standing over him. Zayar kicks at the legs of Ely Artigas and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Ely Artigas to stand. "Cub" weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Zayar Salemi shuffles away from Elys strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Ely backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Ely weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Ely is staggered by a jab to the chin. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Ely Artigas connects with a hard punch making Zayar bring him in to a tight clinch. "Grand" attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Ely Artigas. Artigas takes Zayars back standing. Salemi isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Artigas lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Salemi to release. Zayar Salemi parries Ely Artigass jab and connect with a cross. "Cub" ducks and weaves through a quick combo from "Grand" and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Ely Artigas attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by an upward elbow strike that rocks him. Zayar Salemi is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, "Cub" prepares to pounce, but Zayar Salemi gets his bearings just in time. Artigas hovers over Zayar Salemi pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Artigas waves for Zayar Salemi to stand up. Round 5 is over.
