Round 1 A running flurry from Manfried Schoesser is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Aegerter. Aegerter follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Cedric Aegerter receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Schoesser. "Manbearpig" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Cedric Aegerter takes the back of Manfried who works for a kimura. Cedric Aegerter pulls his arm out of the hold and push Manfried away. Cedric turns to the side and bounces up and down in anticipation. "Manbearpig" lowers his hands to block a body kick, but Aegerter switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of "Manbearpig".

Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Schoesser works Aegerter into the cage from the clinch. Schoesser presses his head under Cedrics chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Manfried takes Cedric Aegerters back standing. Cedric isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Manfried lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Cedric to release. "Manbearpig" moves in to press the action, but Cedric Aegerter lands a heavy back kick. Aegerter shuffles away from Manfried Schoessers strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Manfried backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Cedric Aegerter keeps Manfried Schoesser at a distance with some well timed jabs. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Aegerter parries Manfrieds jab and connect with a cross. Manfried Schoesser swaying back and forth with Balanco is caught flush on the chin putting him to the ground. Manfried Schoesser immediately moves to crouch and launches a Martelo de Negativa to the head of an incoming Cedric Aegerter. Manfried Schoesser gets back to his feet to continue dancing. "Manbearpig" hits an uppercut to the head of Cedric followed by a hard hook. Cedric throws a teep backing Schoesser off. Schoesser throws a cross that easily dodged by Cedric. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. "Manbearpig" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Aegerter connects with jab cross combination. Manfried takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Aegerter throws a few jabs at Schoesser that miss the mark. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Cedric Aegerter lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. Cedric Aegerter fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. "Manbearpig" quickly takes his back. Cedric Aegerter carefully protects himself from Manfried Schoessers strikes. Aegerter slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Cedric dodges a jab-cross combo from Schoesser and connects with a front snap kick, sending Schoesser stumbling backwards. Cedric Aegerter lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Manfried Schoesser circling away. Manfried Schoesser swaying back and forth with Balanco fires the back leg up and over with a hooking Gancho kick to the side of the head of Cedric Aegerter. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Manfried Schoesser connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Cedric Aegerter connects with a hard punch making Manfried Schoesser bring him in to a tight clinch. Manfried Schoesser drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Aegerter works to the butterfly guard. Manfried Schoesser tries to throw a punch but is off balance and Aegerter shoots up to a standing position. Cedric Aegerter turns to the side and bounces up and down in anticipation. Aegerter tries to hyperextend the knee of Schoesser with a kick to the kneecap. Schoesser hops back to avoid it. Manfried throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Cedric. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
