Round 1 Yang snaps back the head of Nobu Kogo with a stiff jab. Eric Yang circles Nobu, mixing jabs with body shots. Nobu Kogo connects with a hard jab as Eric attempts a wide outside hook. Yang circles Nobu, mixing jabs with body shots. Kogo hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Eric dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Nobu Kogo. Yang presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Nobu to the mat. Yang stands back and waves Nobu up. A powerful elbow has Nobu stepping back dazed. Yang lands an inside leg kick and a cross, then grabs the plum and tosses Nobu to the ground. "Se Lang" grabs a foot and kicks at "Sengoku Powers" thighs. He then backs off and Nobu Kogo stands back up. Eric is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Nobu tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Eric that puts him on the floor. A stomp attempt from Eric is countered by a leg trap and attempted lock from Nobu Kogo. Eric is barely able to struggle out and back to standing. "Se Lang" grabs a foot and kicks at Nobu Kogos thighs. He then backs off and Nobu stands back up. Kogo is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Eric Yang presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Kogo survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Kogo connects with jab cross combination. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 "Sengoku Power" narrowly dodges a cross from Eric, but falls catching him in his guard. Yang dodges a few strikes from "Sengoku Power" and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. "Sengoku Power" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Nobu dives in on a leg forcing Yang to fall to his back. Nobu gives up on a leg attempt to achieve side control position. "Se Lang" sneaks a leg back under the body of Nobu to achieve a defensive half guard. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Nobu Kogo connects with a hard jab as Eric attempts a wide outside hook. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Kogo slides in and grabs a leg lock taking "Se Lang" to the ground. Kogo works for a heel hook but cannot finish and both fighters work to standing. Eric Yang fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Nobu Kogo. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Eric Yang circles Nobu, mixing jabs and leg kicks. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Se Lang" lands some solid knees to the legs of Nobu from the clinch. Eric grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Nobu Kogo under the eye. Nobu takes the back of "Se Lang" who works for a kimura. Nobu pulls his arm out of the hold and push "Se Lang" away. Eric Yang circles Nobu, landing jabs at will. Kogo is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. "Se Lang" welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Kogo back to striking distance. Nobu Kogo takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Round 5 comes to a close.
