Round 1 Izan connects with a hard punch making Mac bring him in to a tight clinch. Izan Lopez works to Macs back while standing. Izan Lopez throws a couple of outside shots until Sanders is able to work his way back to the clinch. Sanders dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Izan standing over him. Izan Lopez drops a huge strike to Mac Sanderss chin, landing into his guard. "FistKing" connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Izan Lopez tries to move to half guard but Mac Sanders uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Izan Lopez tries to pass guard but Sanders stops him with a well timed punch. Mac Sanders sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 "FistKing" fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Lopez to the cage. Lopez swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Izan begins to posture on his side. Mac lands a couple of outside hooks and Izan returns to the guard. Lopez backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Sanders circles Izan Lopez, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Mac Sanders wraps around Izan Lopezs waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Mac drops some hammer fists on Izan. Sanders drops some hammer fists on Lopez. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lopez places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Izan Lopez works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Lopez drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Izan frees a leg and moves into half guard. Izan slips out of half guard and into side control. Lopez delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing "FistKing" to turn over. Lopez takes the back. "FistKing" rolls back into being mounted.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Mac Sanders receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Lopez. Izan drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Lopez pushes down Sanderss leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Izan Lopez slips out of half guard and into side control. Mac Sanders is wisely defending a kimura. Izan Lopez attempts to take it but Mac Sanders is having none of it, though Izan Lopez has used the chance the slide into mount. Sanders gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Lopez works his arm around the neck of Mac attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Mac hand fights well. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Both fighters begin to exchange Lopez catches Mac with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Mac gather himself. Mac says he is ok and the fight continues. Izan Lopez connects with jab cross combination. Sanders is staggered by a jab to the chin. Izan Lopez connects with a hard punch making Sanders bring him in to a tight clinch. Mac receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Lopez. A strong elbow forces Sanders to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Round 5 is over.
